Work units for the elderly need a new type of management model to increase the attraction and holding power of the sector. Our goal is to build alternative paths for elderly care organizations to transition to community management.
Presentation of the project
The Paths to Community in Elderly Work project started on August 1, 2023. As a result of the project, 13 working groups of the elderly from Northern Savonia are progressing towards a sense of community under the leadership of work community coaches from Savonia University of Applied Sciences and Savo Vocational College. A digital guide open to the general public will be written about the units’ transformation journeys, which will be published after the end of the project in 2025.
